"The Puig Seat Cowl of the new generation transforms the appearance of the Yamaha YZF-R1, eliminating the passenger seat and streamlining the rear section for a more aerodynamic and aggressive design. Made from high-end 4mm thick ABS plastic, it ensures lightness, strength, and durability, while its carbon-look finish integrates perfectly with the original design of the motorcycle. Inspired by MotoGP competition bikes, its two-piece structure allows you to choose between a more discreet configuration or a more aggressive and aerodynamic aesthetic. It incorporates internal ducts that reduce air turbulence and a 4mm neoprene foam at the front to enhance rider comfort at high speeds. Its installation is quick and simple, requiring no drilling, as it is secured with 3mm thick metal supports and a special adhesive that conceals the screws once installed. Developed at Puig's facilities near the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, this seat cowl offers a perfect combination of performance, aerodynamics, and aesthetics, giving the motorcycle a unique and professional single-seat appearance. ABE certified, it guarantees its use on public roads and compatibility with YAMAHA YZF-R1 2020-2025."
