It makes tap water safe & suitable for fish and prevents dangerous increases in ammonium/ammonia and nitrite, removes chlorine/chloramines as well as heavy metals. It also protects the mucous membrane and gills of your fish. XTreme, together with Nite-Out II and Special Blend, enables safe and fast stocking of fish in new aquariums.
