This clinical guide aims to guide fellow acupuncturists through the nuances of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for managing the side effects of cancer treatment. Drawing from my experience as a Clinical Supervisor at Emperor’s College, where I supervised interns for eight years at the Disney Family Cancer Center in Burbank, CA, I taught the intricacies of Master Tung’s Acupuncture for treating these side effects. My approach involved a generic acupuncture prescription serving as the foundation for treating cancer patients, allowing for modifications as needed, and teaching the Master Tung points as time allowed. Recognizing a gap in the knowledge of many acupuncturists on treating cancer in clinical settings, I hope this volume serves as a valuable resource for practitioners seeking to alleviate the side effects of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation in cancer patients. Most books out currently speak of the TCM approach to cancer and they do not have a fast clinical approach to alleviating the main problems and suffering. Because I am primarily a clinician, I have a clinician’s point of view to go right in and treat for what is troubling a patient.
