The 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2 (model A063) is a bright standard zoom lens for Sony full-frame system cameras and the successor to the popular 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III RXD (model A036). High resolution and excellent image quality are among its main innovations. The new lens features a completely new optical system, but it has remained as compact as its predecessor. To minimise imaging errors, the optical structure is composed of LD (low dispersion) and GM (glass-moulded aspherical) lens elements. Resolution is very high at all focal lengths and across the entire image plane. At fully open aperture, a very nice bokeh effect is visible. With these and many other innovations, the 28-75mm F/2.8 G2 is the first choice for anyone who wants to get the most out of their creativity.
