THE PRAYER OF HELP

INT. - LED STUDIO LIGHT LIT 'THE OPRAH PODCAST' TEA HOUSE, CAMERAS ROLLING, (JANUARY 29, 2025) MONTECITO MANSION - SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA, SUNNY SUNDAY AFTERNOON. PASSING THE JAY, MANFRED MANN'S 'DO WAH DIDDY' PLAYS, FADES, THEN ACTION! OPRAH Welcome world! And A very special welcome to my 2 radiantly delightful, magnificently talented, & extremely impactful guests: Miss Kim Kardashian, & Mrs. Beyoncè Knowles Carter! I want everyone watching to know that this interview is 100% spur-of-the-moment. I received an urgent Apple Watch 10 holler just before supper whilst checkin' on me vitals n' cookin' up me vittles. My understanding from said conversation is that 2 of the most phenomenal women on our planet, cultural icons to say the least, absolute living legends, survivors, trendsetters, business moguls, & most importantly: Mothers, are in serious distress. Our people put this entire broadcast together in a matter of hours, therefore I'd 1st like to thank our teams for working so hard to organize & manifest this moment into reality as quickly & as diligently as they have. And I'd like to thank the both of you, Kim & Bey, for being brave enough to speak out, & trusting in me to provide a safe space in which you feel comfortable & confident enough to express your pain & frustration during such tumultuous times in both your lives, & in the lives of your loving Families. KIM K Thank you, Oprah. Happy Birthday! And thank you, Beyoncè. YONCÈ Kim! 'BOW!' Kith’nKim Records! I love! And Op, can't thank you enough. Happy Birthday! There's no 1 on Earth I could think of whom I'd be comfortable speaking with about this right now besides you 2. The whole ordeal is nothing less than an emotional roller coaster for me, my children, Mama Tina, & my entire circle of family & friends. Kim, I finally understand what you went through on an even deeper level, because it's happening to me & my babies, right before my eyes & the eyes of the whole wide world. So I appreciate you being here at my side, & for having my back. KIM K But of course, girlfriend. Your confidence inspires my confidence, & the Lord works in mysterious ways. On Rob, I don't even think I had an O. J. clue that we've so much in common until all this drama began unfolding. OPRAH Wow. Amazing. So let's jump right on into the frying pan then, shall we? What in the devil is all of this, quote unquote, "Unfolding drama" heating up? And most importantly, what everyone I know is begging me to ask is: Do y’All ignore the warning signs due to dysfunctional familial behavioral patterns? Now hang on... I know your egos are telling you to immediately respond no. I'm all too familiar with the comfort zone, & whatcha accustomed to sayin' for the camera, but I want you both to take a moment, breathe deeply, & be 100% honest with yourselves before you answer. Did that little voice in the back of your head ever say at any time before you tied the knot, Beyoncè Knowles, & to you, Kimberly Kardashian: "Wayment. Somn ain't right."? YONCÈ Oprah, yont unnastand. You & Stedman've never been a power couple. Y'all just bout like my sweet Granny & Grandpa Hogg. They belonged to "The Mayor Of Bug Tussle"- OPRAH Uh-uh! Ain’t goin’ thisaway today. Roger King was all the power couple I ever needed. Pause. Na I told everyone involved last night before I agreed to sit down for this interview, I demand transparency, vulnerability, & accountability. If not, we can All go home. Because I've heard it all before. I need you, Beyoncè Knowles Carter, & you, Kim Kardashian, formerly Kim Kardashian West, to take full & complete ownership of this very moment. Think of your daughters. Take A second. Not a trick question. I'll ask you once again... Did that little Black voice in the back of your blonde head ever say at any time before you tied the knot: "Yoncè, wayment. Somn ain't right."?
