The water column describes the pressure needed until water can penetrate through the fabric. In addition, the seams are fully welded so that rain doesn't stand a chance. Nevertheless, the jacket remains extremely breathable at 40,000 g/m²/24 hours: within 24 hours, 40 litres of water vapour per square metre can evaporate. So the jacket always ensures a comfortable fit on strenuous speed hiking activities. The athletic cut jacket has two side zip pockets in which small items can be stored, the fitted hood and the elastic cuffs also prevent wind and moisture from entering.
