Key Features

For desktop PCs on PCI Express port. Allows you to add 8 SATA ports (internal) to connect 1 to 8 SATA III devices independently.

Compatibility: SATA 3 (backwards compatible with SATA 1 and 2). Theoretical maximum throughput with SATA 3 hard drives is 600MB/s (6GB bandwidth). Drivers included for: Windows 2000, XP32/64, Vista32/64, Seven, 8 and 10-11 32/64 - Linux Kernel 2.6.19 and above.

Dual Chipset: Marvell 88SE9215 and Marvell 88SM9705 PCI Express 1x (PCIe 2.0) port - Will fit on a 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x or 16x PCIe port. Compatible with SATA 3 (accepts SATA 1 and 2 drives, but the maximum throughput will then be 150MB/s and 300MB/s) respectively. For hard drives or optical drives.

Maximum transfer speed of 600MB/second (6Gbp bandwidth). Eight independent SATA III ports. Supports NCQ (32 commands/port). Compatible with FIS port replicators ("port multiplier").

Compatible with 'port multiplier' devices. Plug and play. Card supplied with SATA cables and two brackets: High profile + Low profile.
