Compatible with SATA 3 (accepts SATA 1 and 2 drives, but the maximum throughput will then be 150MB/s and 300MB/s) respectively. For hard drives or optical drives. Maximum transfer speed of 600MB/second (6Gbp bandwidth). Four independent SATA III ports. Supports NCQ (32 commands/port). Compatible with FIS port replicators ("port multiplier").
