Theoretical maximum throughput with SATA 3 hard drives is 600MB/s (6GB bandwidth). Drivers included for: Windows 2000, XP32/64, Vista32/64, Seven, 8, 10-11 32/64 - Mac OS X 10.6 and above, Linux Kernel 2.6.19 and above. Features: PCI Express 2x port (PCIE base 1 and base 2 compatible) - Will fit on a 2x, 4x, 8x or 16x PCIe port. Compatible with SATA 3 (accepts SATA 1 and 2 drives, but the maximum throughput will then be 150MB/s and 300MB/s) respectively. For hard drives or optical drives. Maximum transfer speed of 600MB/second (6Gbp bandwidth). Four independent SATA III ports. Supports NCQ (32 commands/port). Compatible with FIS port replicators ("port multiplier"). Compatible with 'port multiplier' devices. Plug and play. 88SE9230 chipset supports RAID 0/1/10. Compatible with AES 128/256-bit
