It is the updated version of the popular L-308S. This new model is suitable for both photographer and film maker. Just as modern cameras today can record video and stills images, this meter is ideally suited to both styles of capture. Switching between shutter speeds, or frames per second could not be easier. The Flashmate L-308X is suited to users of Mirrorless, DSLR, Broadcast ENG or Cinema System Cameras, full control of frame rates and shutters speeds are available. For creatives working with Chroma-key or technical situations where consistency of light is required across surfaces the L-308X provides both LUX and Foot Candle (FC) readings, for these situations Sekonic recommend the optional Lumadisc accessory is used.
