Panel fixer for fixing black facade boards. Hapatec hardened stainless steel screw is a panel fastener specially designed for hardwood. The screw features a scraper groove on the screw tip, milling ribs over the thread and a decorative head. Product advantages: milling ribs facilitate countersinking in all types of wood, the special screw geometry reduces the risk of splitting the wood, but pre-drilling is absolutely recommended especially for hardwoods in terrace or facade construction. Corrosion resistant up to and including use class 3 – "freely weathered constructions" according to DIN EN 1995 (Eurocode 5), martensitic stainless steel 1.4006 (C1), with European technical rating ETA-11/0024. Note: Not suitable for heavily tannin-containing woods such as cumarú, oak, merbau robinie etc. Not acid-resistant, not suitable for use in aggressive, salt or chlorinated environments.
