Nano Flex: Developed exclusively for Castelli, we took our Thermoflex thermal fabric and coated it with silicone nonofilaments to create the best water repellent treatment ever. The drops of water remain on the surface as small spheres and bounce off the fabric without leaving a trace. For some years we have been using the Nano Flex Light stretch fabric on the back of the Perfetto vests and Beta jackets. A tightly woven fabric protects you from the wind while being relatively thin and compact. And the absence of a membrane allows much more moisture to escape. We now bring this fabric into a jersey that's lightweight yet surprisingly warm thanks to the way it protects you more from the wind than a traditional jersey. We've lined the front of the jersey with fabric that comes straight from our technical base layer for a little extra warmth and to help wick moisture away from your body. This jersey covers a wider range of temperatures than our traditional jerseys. Use it with a light sleeveless base layer for balmy days, with a light long sleeve base layer for days with moderate temperatures or with a Flanders Warm or Miracle base layer and gilet to feel comfortable in surprisingly cool temperatures.
