Description Paired with an undershirt, this is the shirt that protects you from the wind, suitable for mild conditions. Alternatively, use it over a jersey as a vest with added protection on the shoulders. Wind protection on the front, light and breathable with full water repellency. The Perfetto RoS 2 Wind Jersey was born from a request from our pro cyclists: I would like to wear the Gabba all the time but sometimes it gets too hot. So a slightly lighter and more breathable Gabba became the Perfetto Light. With the fourth generation, we also changed the name from Perfetto Light to Perfetto RoS 2 Wind Jersey. And it's become a staple in our fall and spring wardrobes because it's so practical in so many situations… which makes it very hard to pin down. In some ways it's a warmer vest, as it has the same construction as the Perfetto RoS 2 but with short sleeves but you can also see it as a less warm Gabba or as a vest with front wind protection. Regardless of how you want to define it, you'll appreciate how it gives the right level of protection on cold days, while maintaining a high level of breathability. It gives you a sense of warmth and protection but with almost the same lightness and freedom of movement as a summer jersey. On warmer days, we'll use it as a jersey over a lightweight base layer with Seamless sleeves. For rides in cooler or changing conditions, you can use it to layer over a jersey, with Seamless or Nano Flex arm warmers. The "2" in the name refers to updates to the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® zip that opens from both the top and bottom for fine-tuned ventilation. The reflective part on the back is more visible, the three pockets are more spacious and the lower elongated part has been reduced to make the garment more compact when folded.
