I believe this book will add huge value to the healthcare systems across the world, where hospitals are in fact struggling in their current form to handle cross infection control and pretty much no hospitals have coped with managing visitor access to over 5 million dying patients, also denying at least 20 million close family members and friends access to them in their most difficult times. This book address those failures. A must read for any Architect involved in hospital design and for organisations like the NHS and healthcare providers. Basically with this simple book I am offering a floor plan layout that could transform ward designs across the world from here on. I spent years since the Ebola crisis looking at numerous designs. I knew something simple and practical was needed. The lack of access and visitation during the Ebola crisis and Covid crisis is one of the worst examples of healthcare delivery I have ever seen. The fact that hospitals globally suddenly shut down, mostly came to a halt, certainly the public couldn't visit dying relatives. Well I have solutions in this book. Its a powerful concept. And I share my drawings with you. It doesn't matter how big and fancy and hotel looking your hospital is...if it cant handle infection control, you might as well just book everyone in at a hotel...which is kind of what happened in the end!!!
