The E544 British Association (BA) machine tap is available in four sizes from No8 to No2. The steam tempered finish on these taps prevents workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edge so you get a clean, accurate thread and the High Speed steel used in manufacture means you can rely on great performance and extended tool life. The taps conform to guidelines laid down by the International Standards Organization. With a spiral flute, E544 taps are designed to thread blind holes. Suitable for machining in steels, aluminium, stainless steels and many other materials, E544 machine taps are very versatile.
