Description Designed to protect you on your bike commute, this jacket keeps it all out while fitting in with your office attire. Where it really excels though is in its total reflectivity which glows at night but is virtually unnoticeable during the day. This is Castelli's bike-commuting jacket, built to function on the bike and look good when you get to work. We wanted a jacket that offered maximum visibility when you come home from work in the dark but didn't make you look ridiculous with a thousand reflective stripes when you arrive at the office. We've applied a virtually invisible reflective print to the entire surface of the jacket that is almost invisible when you ride during the day or when you wear the jacket to work but at night it becomes reflective to make you clearly visible. But we didn't stop at refraction. The 20,000mm water column means that rain will never pass through the fabric, ever. And the breathability of 20,000 MVTR ensures that a good amount of sweat escapes. But it's the ventilation details that set this jacket apart: there's an elastic waistband that you can zip up to seal out the wind or leave it open to let some air in from underneath to keep you cooler. This integrated internal band allows us to create a jacket that hangs at the bottom - a much more essential and refined look than that of a jacket with the pleats created with an internal elastic band.
