DANTE HACKERATO THE FIRST FULLY ENCRYPTED DIVINE COMEDY; AN ‘INFERNO’! A game within a game, between language and technology, between art and literature, but above all between machine and Human. The publication brings together the 140 original plates to be investigated, analysed and deciphered; a hell within Dante’s hell. The proposed volume faithfully reproduces the plates (here illuminated) dedicated to and based on the original Dante’s Inferno, created by Fabrizio Santona on a visual suggestion of the works of Paul Gustave Louis Christophe Doré. A journey through language and the contemporary metamorphosis of communication systems where numbers and binary codes replace characters, giving rise to new encrypted content. A visual journey of discovery, testimony to a period of history in which Humans are increasingly being assisted by machines and Artificial Intelligence, to the point of running the risk of being annihilated by them. So this futuristic work seeks to stimulate and challenge the viewer to search and unveil the meanings hidden inside the images (mockery of the machine), testifying to the evolution of human languages and its contemporary infernos. All in a ‘PIXELATED’ aesthetic that makes graphic censorship (through ‘bugs’ and barriers) the basis for constructing paradoxical images that illusorily appear, creating new meanings. In short...A cruel portrait of the contemporary world in which perception is often achieved precisely through denying content that is now unreadable, even for Artificial Intelligence as yet incapable of ‘intuition’. Going along with this present time lacking syntax and punctuation, illusorily free but governed by numbers and those who hold them ... La pubblicazione raccoglie le 140 TAVOLE originali tutte da indagare, analizzare e decifrare; un inferno nell’inferno Dantesco. Il volume proposto, riprende e riproduce fedelmente le tavole(qui miniate) dedicate e costruite sull’originale Inferno Dantesco, create da Fabrizio Santona su suggestione visiva delle opere di Paul Gustave Louis Christophe Doré che hanno accompagnato alla realizzazione delle opere per il progetto. Un viaggio nella lingua e la contemporanea metamorfosi dei sistemi comunicativi dove numeri e codice binario si sostituiscono ai caratteri dando origine a nuovi criptati contenuti. Un percorso visivo e di scoperta, testimonianza di un periodo storico che vede l’Umano sempre più spesso assistito dalla macchina ed Intelligenza artificiale sino al rischio di un suo annullamento in essa. Così questa futuristica opera, vuole stimolare e sfidare il fruitore a cercare e svelare i significati celati all’interno delle immagini (beffa alla macchina) testimoniando l’evoluzione degli umani linguaggi e dei suoi contemporanei INFERNI. Tutto questo, in un’estetica “PIXELATA” che fa della grafica censura (attraverso i “bug” e sbarramenti) base per la costruzione di immagini paradossali che illusoriamente sembrano apparire, creando nuovi significati. Insomma..Un crudele ritratto del contemporaneo nel quale spesso la percezione si attua proprio grazie alla negazione di un contenuto ormai illeggibile, anche per l’Intelligenza Artificiale ad oggi incapace di “intuire”. Assecondando codesto presente privo di sintassi e di punteggiatura, illusoriamente libero ma governato da numeri e da chi li detiene ...
