PNI Escort HP 72 is a portable CB Radio which, thanks to the included accessories (TNC antenna and battery), can be used outside the car, in parking lots or in other open spaces. The Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 2600mAh ensures a sufficient autonomy, so that you do not depend on a fixed power supply, while the 20cm TNC antenna ensures a communication within a radius of up to 500 meters (in open field).

The HP 72 PNI Escort Multi-Standard Portable CB Radio can be used anywhere in Europe by changing the norm and work band. Choose from the 7 available norms the norm specific to the country where you are and the modulation (AM or FM).

The HP 72 PNI Escort portable CB radio, through the functions it has been equipped with, meets the basic needs of CB band users. Functions such as 6-level adjustable automatic Squelch, Channel scanning, Channel monitoring, Dual Watch, Roger Beep, priority channel, key sound, adjustable power saving function and power selection (Hi-Lo).

Remove the TNC antenna and battery from the station. Connect the SO239 socket of the adapter to the PL259 socket of the antenna mounted on the car dome. Connect the cigarette lighter plug of the adapter to the dedicated slot on your car dashboard.

The 2600mAh 7.4V Li-Ion battery can be easily charged with the 230V-9V charger included in the package. Just plug the charger jack into the back of the battery and the adapter into a 230V outlet. During charging, the LED will be red. When the battery is fully charged, the LED on the adapter will turn green. The battery indicator on the station screen warns you in advance when you need to charge the battery.
