The PNI Escort HP 7120 CB station allows communication in the FM band used in Romania, but also in the AM band used in some countries in the European Union. In addition to the band type, the station also allows the selection of the norm (of the frequency band), a setting necessary for using the station in other European countries. Default band: EC 40CH FM 4W.

PNI Escort HP 7120 is improved with a digital automatic system for noise and interference reduction (Digital Automatic Squelch). The dual manual and automatic squelch mode offers 28 and 9 level settings along with the RF Gain function for a finer reception adjustment.
