Description

The relatively small and lightweight DZOFilm VESPID 35 mm T2.1 lens is part of the VESPID lens series from DZOFilm and is ideal for independent and high-end full-format cinematography. The lens has a front diameter of 80 mm, which makes it suitable for use with virtually any cine-style matte box. The small size makes this lens an attractive option for working with drones and gimbals, as well as for shooting from your hand or with a running camera. The replaceable PL connector and included EF connector allow the fully manual lens to be used on a variety of modern and old film cameras, while the full-frame coverage supports sensors with an image circle of up to 46.5 mm, allowing for use on cameras with sensors up to full format without vignetting. The 16 Flat aperture used with all VESPID Prime lenses creates out-of-focus highlights that contribute to the natural looking bokeh of the lens. The focusing ring can be rotated 270° and the aperture ring has a generous rotation range of 63°. The gear rings on the focus and aperture ring make the lens compatible with cine accessories such as follow focus units, lens motors and lens control systems.
