The relatively small and lightweight DZOFilm VESPID 40 mm T2.1 lens is part of the VESPID lens series from DZOFilm and is ideal for independent and high-end full-format cinematography. The lens has a front diameter of 80 mm, which makes it possible to use with virtually any Cine-style matte box. The small size makes this lens an attractive option for working with drones and gimbals, as well as for shooting from your hand or with a running camera. The replaceable PL connector and included EF connector allow the fully manual lens to be used on a variety of modern and old film cameras, while the full-frame coverage supports sensors with an image circle of up to 46.5 mm, allowing for use on cameras with sensors up to full format without vignetting. the aperture With 16 fins used with all VESPID Prime lenses, it creates round, out-of-focus highlights that look more natural and contribute to the natural looking bokeh of the lens. The focusing ring rotates 270° and the aperture ring 64° to allow precise focusing. The cine-style focus and aperture ring gears make the lens compatible with cine accessories such as follow focus units, lens motors and lens control systems. The lens has a magnetically attached rear filter for ND filters.
