Majosta ONLINE SHOPPING AND YELLOW PAGE SYSTEM: ECOMMERCE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The world has become a global village (and an unsafe one for that matter) so the need to carry out as many activities as possible without been physically present is very critical. In times like this when market places, shopping plazas, relaxation centres, diesel depots, supermarkets, schools, banks, embassies etc. have become unsafe to operate within, my research objective was to create an atmosphere to carry out these processes from the comfort of your room or environment at any time of the day and at any period of the week. This gives the needed security and ease of transaction execution. The method adopted involved putting all the requirements needed to ensure that both the consumer and producer were well catered for together. I created a staging environment that has these features. The procedural steps above led me to the coding stage which enabled the research data to be adequately analysed through reports with relevant recommendations and conclusion. One thousand (1000) people from different works of life were given questionnaires based on the research purpose and the data obtained was analysed to give the results in Chapter Four. (The first 60% can be found in the appendices due to space constraint). The purpose of this study is to enhance easy access to online shopping for products and improve the continuation and efficiency of services. This research is of significance to the Nigerian domain of online shopping that is enhanced by the yellow pages system as it extends the knowledge and implementation of what currently exists in that environment.
