The Royal Brackla distillery was founded by the fiery Captain William Fraser, more than 200 years ago. As one of the oldest distilleries in the world, it enjoys a resplendent setting, close by the banks of the river Nairn. It stands in a serene rural spot, on the coastal plain that lies between the seawater of the Moray Firth and the rising slopes of the Grampian Mountains.
