PolarPro BaseCamp Heavy Mist Filter The PolarPro Heavy Mist filter adds a dreamy and smooth look to video footage. While the Mist filter has a similar diffusion strength of ¼, this Heavy Mist filter has a stronger diffusion of 1/2. Information about the BaseCamp Matte Box The Heavy Mist filter is designed to be used with the PolarPro BaseCamp filter holder. The filter holder has a slot to place the Heavy Mist filter in. The filter has a small piece of extra aluminum at the top to hold the filter, this prevents fingerprints on the filter. The complete securing of the filter is done by a knob on the side of the filter holder. The PolarPro BaseCamp Matte Box is a beautifully finished filter holder with flag that you can expand with all kinds of professional filters and accessories. There are regular Vario ND and ND filters available, or you can use the special Mist of Blue and GoldMorphic filters. Also different rails are available to mount the filter holder on.
