This stone can be used for kitchen knives and pocket knives, woodworking planes, chisel, sickle, scissors, stainless steel knives, etc. You can sharpen Japanese block planes and chisel even more efficiently using KAKURI sharpening jig with this stone.

Full scale stone for high HRC blades: even steel materials with high quenching hardness, which are difficult to sharpen with a general artificial whetstone, can be sharpened reliably. It also supports high HRC stainless steel (ex. VG-10, VG-MAX, HSS, etc.) and high HRC Japanese carbon steel (ex. Hitachi White Steel #1 #2, Blue Steel #1 #2, Blue Steel Super, etc.) materials for the professional chef, woodworker, and gardener.

Convenient special case: the whetstone comes with a storage case. The case has a non-slip feature, so you can place a grindstone on the case and use it as a stone base.

You can start sharpening immediately: it can be used immediately by pouring an appropriate amount of water on the grindstone's surface. You do not need to soak in water before using the stone. It is an ideal tool for busy professional users.
