Description

This card will allow you to control four M.2 PCIe M Key (or B+M Key) SSDs. This model has a PCIe 3.0 16x uplock port, and 4 PCIe 3.0 4x downward ports. When an SSD is solicited, the card itself will manage the toggle to this SSD, which makes it possible not to support the toggle by the processor or the PCIe port. This function allows the card to be accepted by motherboards that cannot handle bifurcation, and also allows optimization of the bandwidth allocated to each SSD. For any M.2 "M Key" PCIe NVMe type SSD. On this version, SSDs share bandwidth in pairs, the overall throughput, although very fast, will be worse than on the other Switchtec version. Specifications: For PCIe 3.0 or higher port in 16x. Shared bandwidth of 10GB per pair of SSDs. Large radiator with 40mm fan forced ventilation. 2824 Processor Unrestricted bifurcation management. Compatible with M2 SSD sizes 2232/40/60/80. Screws included. Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and 11 (WINDOWS 10 or higher RECOMMEND), Linux Kernel 3.3 and later. This card does not support hardware RAID, but you can set up software RAID.

Key Features

This card will allow you to control four M.2 PCIe M Key (or B+M Key) SSDs. This model has one PCIe 3.0 16x upstream port, and 4 PCIe 3.0 4x downstream ports.

Forking management. For all M.2 "M Key" PCIe NVMe SSDs. On this version, the SSDs share the bandwidth in pairs, although the overall throughput is very fast, it is not as good as on the other Switchtec version, which is visually identical.

For 16x PCIe 3.0 or higher. 10GB real bandwidth per SSD. Large heatsink with 40mm fan forced ventilation. 2824 processor. Unrestricted fork management.

Compatible with M2 2232/40/60/80 SSD sizes. Hardware supplied. Windows 8,8.1 and 10 (WINDOWS 10 RECOMMENDED), Linux Kernel 3.3 and later.

This card does not support hardware RAID, but you can set up software RAID.
