The SC103DSAJ cordless Threaded Rod Cutter is compact and lightweight, powered by 12V Max Li-ion CXT slide type battery to supply energy to the brushless motor to deliver a maximum capacity in mild steel W3/8, M10, M8 and M6 and maximum capacity in stainless steel W3/8, M8 and M6. The SC103DSAJ is equipped with double edged fixed blade and movable blade that can be reversed as if it is a new blade for increased blade life, conveniently located reversing switch for easy blade release from a rod, rod guide adjustable to two positions depending on the rod size to help stable setting of the rod for precise cutting and is capable of performing stable cutting, even when placed on the floor. The SC103DSAJ features automatic blade stop mechanism; the movable blades stop at the fully open position to allow the user to quickly resume operation. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase. This guarantee does not apply where non-genuine or recommended parts or accessories are fitted to the tool. The use of non-genuine or compatible batteries and chargers with Makita tools will invalidate the Makita guarantee for our tools.
