Makita UE001GZ 40V Max XGT Brushless Edger, Batteries and Charger Not Included

The UE001GZ is a high power cordless Edger with a 203mm cutting width, powered by 40V Max XGT battery (not included), to supply energy to the powerful 40V brushless motor for high power output similar to that of a 30cc engine powered Edger, with soft start, variable speed controlled by trigger and constant speed control, to deliver 0 to 4,800 rpm and up to 1.1 kW maximum output when used with a BL4080F battery (not included). The UE001GZ is equipped with start-up by main power switch, lock lever and lock-off lever, electric brake, anti-restart function, cutting depth adjustment; the working depth can be adjusted by adjusting the tyre height and the blade guard positioned for visibility of the blade tip. The guard plate has been designed to protect the gear case from wear due to contact with the ground during operation at the maximum cutting depth of 59mm. The UE001GZ features new lock-off mechanism; a lock lever has been added to the lock-off lever to enhance work efficiency, Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT); automatically shuts down the current to the motor if the rotation speed suddenly slows down, especially in the case of kick back and is IPX4 dust and water resistant. UE001GZ has a M10 x 1.25LH spindle thread. 1 year manufacturer warranty with a further 2 years when registered within 30 days of purchase.
