Description

The Laguna LT is the latest manifestation in Daiwa's LT storyline. The redesigned reel embraces the LT Concept of light and tough. The True Carbon Frame reduces weight and size, yet is as rigid as conventional materials. The Air Rotor System improves balance and rotation and reduces rotor weight by 15%. Reel performance is silky smooth with 3 ball bearings and 1 roller bearing. Few reels in this price range have 3 ball bearings. The Machined Aluminum handle is swept back and the knob is oversized and ergonomically designed.

ATD DRAG- Daiwa’s Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up.

DIGIGEAR- Daiwa’s first generation of digitally engineered gear design ensures a perfect mesh between ultra-tough drive gear and pinion gears for optimized speed, power, durability and smoothness.

CARBON LIGHT BODY- An incredibly strong carbon based composite material, lighter and tougher than ordinary graphite, and unlike metal doesn't corrode.

LT LIGHT TOUGH- Introducing ‘minimalist engineering’ in Daiwa spinning reels. LT Technology introduces new, reduced reel dimensions but makes them stronger than ever. Compact body design yet with tougher Digigear drive for the perfect combination of lightness and toughness.

AIR ROTOR SYSTEM- The newly developed AIRDRIVE ROTOR is made from Zaion. Maintaining the strength of the rotor Daiwa has been able to reduce the weight significantly. Designed with focus to create a perfectly round structure, trouble free and flawless rotation have been achieved.
