By using extremely lightweight and durable Zaion material for both the housing and rotor construction, DAIWA engineers have succeeded in reducing weight while increasing the strength and rewind force of the reel. The CNC machined Tough Digigear gear ensures smooth operation and outstanding performance that allows comfortable fishing with large baits without losing the precision of the mechanism. The ATD system is characterised by high sensitivity and gentle adjustment without initial increase in resistance. The MagSealed shaft seal prevents water and dirt from entering and optimally protects the inner parts of the drum from corrosion. A machined aluminium crank adapts perfectly to the drive wheel. The special Longcast ABS spool design reduces friction during casting and improves casting distance. .
