Description

CS 561 fibre discs for steel and non-ferrous metal have very good removal values. Resin bonding makes this product strong, durable and long lasting. Fibre discs CS 561 have a flexible base made of volcanic fibre. Due to the dense dispersion with corundum grain, they are extremely powerful. Available in all industry standard diameters, CS 561 offers the greatest possible selection that the Klingspur product range for fibre discs has to offer. The wide range of different grits makes CS 561 a versatile abrasive for: metal, non-ferrous metal, plastic and wood. Structure of the CS 561 fibre discs. This sanding disc is made from a composite material multi-layer thick paper with a densely scattered grain of corundum. The grains are bonded to the carrier using a synthetic resin-based adhesive. The CS 561 fibre discs are used on angle grinders. The range of available grits makes the CS 561 sanding disc versatile. In the medium and fine grits there is a high abrasion on steel and non-ferrous metal. The CS 561 can even be used for wood or plastic. The solid construction allows you to work at very high speeds. The grinding pattern depends on the support plate. By choosing a suitable support plate, the grinding pattern can be significantly influenced. Basically, two types of support plates are available: support plate ST 358 medium hard and smooth support plate ST 358 A hard and ribbed. The medium-hard support plate is suitable for an even grinding pattern and adapts flexibly to the contour of the workpiece. It is ideal for finer sanding, sanding contours and rounding edges. When rough sanding work needs to be carried out that require a high abrasion, the CS 561 is used on hard support discs. The hard support plate is particularly suitable for deburring work and breaking edges.
