Description

This backplane can accommodate 8x 2, 5" SATA/SAS hard drives and is not only ideal as a server due to its high storage capacity. The system works reliably and quietly. In addition, the two 50x50 mm fans reliably cool down the backplane. Up to 8x 2, 5" SATA/SAS hard drives can be installed in this case. The housing is hotswappable so that the hard drives can be easily replaced without having to remove the case. The case is made entirely of metal and the hard drive carriers are equipped with a lock that prevents accidental opening and prevents unauthorised access. An LED also shows operation and disk access for each storage medium. The aluminium used dissipates heat particularly well and the cooling of the drives during heavy operation is also ensured by two 50 mm fans on the back.
