The Nuances Infrared 720 infrared filter is compatible with the EVO L filter holder and the NX-Series system with a separately available 100 x 100 mm frame. It does not pass the ultraviolet spectrum or the visible spectrum and starts transmitting in the deep red (50% at 720 nm). It is used in the first slider of the filter holder to block any light passing between the filter holder and the surface of the filter. The Nuances Infrared 720 infrared filter is made of mineral glass, which ensures the full preservation of the resolution of your lens. On the other hand, we have optimised the transmission of the filter in the mid-infrared to achieve a maximum of approximately 98% at 950nm. For owners of a Creative Z-Pro filter holder, this filter comes with a foam ring that provides a seal between the filter and the surface of the filter holder. However, we recommend using the NX series filter holder.
