This new 10 CD Box Set offers us the best highlights of Dresden church music from the wonderful Carus catalogue. Renowned for their marvellous interpretations of choral works, Hans-Christoph Rademann again makes the best of the forces on this set. The box with 10 CDs brings together several of Dresdens most important church composers such as Heinichen, Hasse, Zelenka and Homilius. The Kyrie Gloria Mass from Bachs B minor Mass according to the Dresden parts is also included in the box as a special treat. The performers are the Dresdner Kreuzchor conducted by their artistic director Roderich Kreile, the Dresdner Kammerchor and the Gaechinger Cantorey conducted by Hans-Christoph Rademann as well as the Vocal Concert Dresden conducted by Peter Kopp.
