Volume II now contains the chants of the working days of Advent, the time after Christmas, Lent, the time after Easter and the time in the year circle, the communia and propria of the saints, the chants of the liturgy of the dead and the other chants provided in the Ordo Cantus Missae, which are not yet published in Volume I of the Graduale Novum. It serves today's liturgical practice as well as science. Again, the revisions are incorporated directly into the square notation. Above or below the staff the neumes in Metzer and St. Gallen notation are added.
