As long as the story it portrays, the Nativity of Willow Tree is as popular today as it was when it was introduced in 2000. Its simplicity and shape have made it a timeless classic. As a Christmas gift idea, wedding gift idea or for yourself, the Willow Tree Nativity scene continues the family tradition. Since 1999, Susan Lordi has worked in partnership with Demdaco on the production, marketing and distribution of Willow Tree, their line of carved, figurative sculptures. In her studio in Kansas City, Lordi carves the original of each figure by hand and designs accompanying accessories. The pieces in this collection are cast from Lordi's original carvings and painted by hand.

Key Features

The tallest figure (Joseph) stands 9 inches tall. Figures, animals and accessories are made to the appropriate scale.

Figures can be displayed on the mantel or side table with greenery. Recommended additional accessories for decoration with Willow Tree (not included in this set) sold separately.

Figurines are cast in resin and inspired by Susan Lordi's original carvings, as well as hand painted.

The collection of the willow tree nativity scene is often used as a holiday tradition. The simplicity and elegant shape of the figures and animals have made them a timeless classic.
