Titanium has excellent properties: Despite the low weight compared to conventional bits, titanium bits lie very quietly in the horse's mouth, due to the natural titanium dioxide layer on the dentures, pollutants and bacteria can be destroyed and an antimicrobial effect can be achieved, due to the poor thermal conductivity of titanium, it always has a comfortable temperature, the horse's saliva production is stimulated, which promotes relaxation of the horse's neck muscles.
