The compact expert GR III is equipped with a CMOS sensor in APS-C format of 24.24 effective megapixels for high definition images and a start-up of approximately 0.8 seconds allowing for the fastest responsiveness when shooting. The GRIII also offers other features such as a Hybrid Autofocus System, Body Stabilization Mechanism (SR), a touch screen. The GRIII will benefit from updating firmware in the future to further improve these functions and overall performance.

Touch screen: quick and easy operation thanks to the touch screen, which is easily visible even in sunlight thanks to the outdoor viewing mode. Monochrome settings: 3 preset monochrome options with adjustable parameters. Usb-type C interface: power supply to the battery charger and power supply via USB Type-C cable.
