In the first half of the last century, between 1930 and 1950, Benlee was a great name. Famous boxers fought with this: "Bomber Brown" Joe Louis, "Jersey" Joe Walcott and Rocky Marciano, three heavyweight champions in a row. They all stood in the ring with Benlee boxing gloves and Benlee sports trousers. Other champions such as Jake "The Raging Bull" La Motta, "Sugar" Ray Robinson and Floyd Patterson also wore Benlee. Benlee began production of boxing equipment in the 30s, but retired from the shop in the 60s. The punch revives the tradition and in memory of Rocky Marciano, the best boxer of all time, deceased in 1969, has added its name to "his" brand: BenleeRockyMarciano.
