In the first half of the last century, between 1930 and 1950, Benlee was a great name. Famous boxers fought with this: "Bomber Brown" Joe Louis, "Jersey" Joe Walcott and Rocky Marciano, three heavyweight champions one at a time. They all stood in the ring with Benlee boxing gloves and Benlee sports trousers. Other champions such as Jake "The Raging Bull" La Motta, "Sugar" Ray Robinson and Floyd Patterson also wore Benlee. Benlee began producing boxing equipment in the 1930s, but moved back from the shop in the 1960s. The punch revives the tradition and in memory of Rocky Marciano, the best boxer ever deceased in 1969, it has its name attached to "his" brand: BenleeRockyMarciano.
