Product Description Bottega's Pistachio Liqueur is a creamy liqueur, pleasantly sweet and with a moderate alcohol content, characterised by an intense pistachio aroma. Pistachios, produced from a plant native to the Middle East, which grows spontaneously and luxuriantly on the slopes of Etna, the great Sicilian volcano, have always been recognised for their nutritional properties. From the traditional refinement of only Sicilian pistachios, a paste is obtained which keeps all the precious organoleptic characteristics of this fruit intact. The skilful mixing of this paste with alcohol, water and sugar gives life to a creamy, round, enveloping liqueur with an intense and inebriating aroma of Sicilian pistachios. With the addition grappa gives this product a final touch and an unmistakable aroma. This is a vegan liqueur which is produced without using milk so it can also be consumed by those who are intolerant to lactose and milk proteins. Thanks to the moderate alcohol content, it is particularly appreciated for sweetening the palate, if served cold not only at the end of a meal but also at any time of the day.
