How to replace your Franke Olympus tap valve: First Turn water off before proceeding with these steps. Step 1: Use Allen Key provided to undo the screw holding the lever on. > Step 2: Pull the lever off > Step 3: Unscrew the shroud / cover (this will unscrew anticlockwise) Step 4: Unscrew the cartridge (this will unscrew anticlockwise) Step 5: You are now ready to fit the new replacement cartridge. Screw old bush on if necessary before refitting. refit cover and lever, tighten screw
Tap Cartridges will repair a leak / drip from the end of the spout. If your tap is leaking from the bottom of the spout (where it joins the tap body) then cartridges will not solve a leak here. In this case you would need the spout O Ring repair kit.
