They can maintain their performance in incredibly high temperatures up to 300â„ƒ and also have superior resistance to corrosion, even when they are uncoated making them ideal for use outside or in applications where they will come into direct contact with water. Samarium cobalt magnets are commonly used in manufacturing, marine and aerospace applications. Because they are part of the rare-earth family they are also impressively strong for their size. Â

Key Features

HIGH MAXIMUM OPERATING TEMPERATURE. Samarium cobalt has a maximum operating temperature of 300 degrees Celsius these magnets are perfect for high-temperature applications.

MULTIPLE USES. Because of their high maximum operating temperature, they are commonly used in applications such as motors and electric motors, turbo machinery, and sensors.

IDEAL FOR OUTDOOR USE. Samarium cobalt has a superior resistance to corrosion and demagnetisation they are ideal for use outside.

STRONG RARE EARTH MAGNET. Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 0.33kg vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface.

SPECIFICATIONS. 5mm diameter x 2mm thick. +/-0.1mm tolerance. Each magnet's north and south pole are on opposite 5mm diameter faces.
