OVERVIEW: Idrostop anti-flood valve, available in two versions – for gluing or with gasket – are anti-flooding devices which close automatically when a reflow occurs and allow a normal drainage when the reflow stops. Installation can be made in flowing-back-water drainage systems working with gravity,inside and outside buildings for public, residential, commercial, industrial application. Idrostop valve must be put on the connection between private and public sewage networks. INSTALLATION: the valve is to be installed directly on waste pipes by putting it into a well in order to ease both inspection and service, respecting flow direction (indicated on the top) by installing the socket upstream. The body of the valve must be horizontal, perpendicular to the flow and with a maximum angle of 2.5 degrees in flow direction. Pipes and fittings to be used for assembly must comply with EU regulations. It is recommended the exit size should not be smaller than the entry one. SERVICE: Device inspection must be performed twice a year through the control screw top. Inside valve cleaning is carried out by removing the top.
