Product Description QUANTOFIX sulphite test strips are semi-quantitative in nature and are designed for easy and rapid determining of sulphite ions, the test can be carried out in 10-120 seconds. They meet the most important requirements for a modern quick test. These test strips come in a plastic bottle to protect the strips. The graduation for these strips are 0-10-25-50-100-250-500-1000mg/l SO3 2-. These tests are ready to use, with all necessary equipment and reagents, and are pre-calibrated to save time for the user. The test stick itself is a plastic strip of 0.2mm thickness with the test paper being sealed at the lower end of the strip. The test paper size allows for a clear comparison to the colour scale provided to determine the concentration as the test paper is of a similar size. The colour change for these test strips are from yellow to orange/red. These strips should be stored between 4 to 30 degrees centigrade. The length of the strips is sufficient for easily handling even in cases where aggressive or otherwise noxious solutions are to be tested. Directions 1. Open the plastic bottle containing the test strips. 2. Take out a test strip. 3. Perform the test by following the color chart provided. 4. Compare the test paper color to the color scale to determine the concentration. 5. Store the remaining strips between 4 to 30 degrees centigrade.
