Product Description professional Entopest common clothes moth Trap kit used by professionals within the UK to monitor and control emerging common clothes moth (tineola bisselliella) infestations. This kit includes: 10 x tineola bisselliella glue boards The pheromone Trap will attract the common clothes moth (tineola bisselliella) only. Please do not purchase to control other moths as the pheromone has been specifically created for this species only. Please check before hand that you have the correct species, we offer a free bird fall service if you are unsure of the species. The moth pads will fit the majority of professional moth holders including the slim-line Entopest holder hows does the Trap work? A sex pheromone slowly leaks from the pad attracting the male tineola bisselliella. The moth lands on the glue near to the pheromone and becomes trapped and quickly dies. by attracting the male moth to the pads you break the lifecycle of the infestation and this control emerging infestations. will this control my infestation? For small infestations the traps are an excellent way to stop the breeding cycle. It is unlikely however that full control will be gained from using just pheromone traps in Medium and large infestations however they are an excellent monitoring and location finding device and an important tool to use in the overall treatment process. We always recommend that using an insecticide or an alternative product to quicken the treatment process. do I have the correct species? tineola bisselliella are golden in colour and approximately 5mm in length. will this control other species of moth? The pheromone has been known to catch case-bearing clothes moth (tinea pellionella), however we are unable to guarantee their Success due to mixed results within testing. Use with Pad Holders – Designed to fit Entopest clear hanger units and other compatible moth monitoring traps. Pads can be used on their own, but using holders helps reduce contact with surrounding fabrics and surfaces. Each pad measures 130mm x 60mm and comes in a pack of 10.
