Cet ouvrage comprend les matières suivantes : une introduction approfondie montrant ce qu'est le Coran (al-Qur'ân) et le Livre dans son symbolisme ; une étude sur l'histoire et la phonétique de l'alphabet arabe, assortie de graphiques et de cartes l'illustrant ; une grammaire appliquée particulièrement au Texte révélé et présentée à l'aide de tableaux clairs ; un index alphabétique de tous les mots trouvés dans le Qur'ân ; un lexique complet de ces termes coraniques (environ 5000) classés alphabétiquement par racines au nombre de 1726 et comportant des traductions de versets pour illustrer chaque racine étudiée ; une recension des versets traduits, soit 2500 versets environ sur les 6236 que comporte le Texte révélé ; des annexes dont un classement des Noms divins selon le Coran et la Tradition, une recension des mots de même racine trouvés dans le Coran, etc. De plus cet ouvrage complet et original comporte divers commentaires et réflexions ayant trait à la grammaire et au vocabulaire coraniques.
