The safety shoe Arborist GTX S3 CI is a safety boot from the ELTEN SPECIALS series. It fulfils the performance requirements of the safety category S3 and is available in the size range 38 – 48. Arborist GTX S3 CI is CI (COLD INSULATED) certified and thus protects the foot against heat loss. Thanks to a full, padded bellows tongue, the penetration of dirt and pressure points are being prevented. Good stability and foothold are provided by the collar padding. Furthermore, Arborist GTX S3 CI is certified according to DGUV regulation 112-191. The integrated reflective material ensures good visibility in the dark, even under unfavourable weather and light conditions. A PU toe protection protects the upper leather in the toe area against premature wear. Arborist GTX S3 CI is perfectly prepared for works in forests and woodlands as it is equipped with cut protection material. It is certified according to EN ISO 17249, protection level 1 (20m / sec.). Embossed and hydrophobized cowhide leather is wear-resistant. A GORE-TEX climate membrane prevents water from penetrating the shoe, but remains breathable at the same time. Ergonomically shaped steel toe caps protect the wearer of the Arborist GTX S3 CI against impacts and pressure loadings. The full-length, exchangeable inlay sole is antistatic and provides for a comfortable foot climate thanks to its very good moisture absorption and release features. The antistatic soft fleece insole – in combination with the full-length inlay sole – provides for a comfortable foot climate. The penetration protection of Arborist GTX S3 CI is guaranteed by a steel midsole made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The PU/PU outsole of the SPECIALS series is antistatic, slip-resistant, oil and fuel resistant and heat-resistant up to 130° C.
