Product Description The Ragnaud-Sabourin family owns one of the most prestigious private estates in Grande Champagne and certainly have a grand history. Their estate, Domaine La Voute, was established in 1850 by Gaston Briand, one of the first in the region to push for an establishment of recognised crus. Today, the estate is run by Annie Sabourin, who oversees the vines which stretch across the chalky slopes of Ambleville in the heart of Cognac's Premier Cru, Grand Champagne. This location, and the traditional methods employed by Ragnaud-Sabourin, mean that it is regarded as one of the finest estates in Cognac. Key Features

At 25 years old a delicate floral character of lime tree and hyacinth on the nose. The palate is richer than the nose suggests with orange spice, vanilla and old oak. Lighter in body than the No 35 Fontvieille from the same stable; the XO has an elegant finsih with much finesse; very well balanced with just a suggestion form the spirit that you have a proper drink on your hands.

Very spcial XO from this estate aged considerbaly longer than that required by law.

If you come from a Whisky drinking background and want to get into Cognac then this or the cheaper Raganud Sabourin VSOP are great places to start.

From arguably the finest estate in all of Cognac this very old Cognac combines the power of maturity and the finesse of the region.
