With the USB to Serial Converter you can easily connect four serial peripheral devices with RS-232 interface or COM port to your notebook, single-board computer or server system.

Since today's PCs usually no longer have serial ports, the adapter is ideal for the operation of weather stations, sensors, machine controls, modems or ISDN systems.

The serial adapter with two 9-pin D-SUB connectors has an FTDI / FT4232H chipset for individual configuration and full-duplex data transmission with up to 128 Mbit/s. The FT2232H chipset is equipped with a 9-pin D-SUB connector for individual configuration and full-duplex data transmission with up to 128 Mbit/s. The FT2232H chipset is equipped with a 9-pin D-SUB connector.

In addition to remote wake-up, power management is also supported - the converter is compatible with Windows (10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP), Mac OS X and Linux.

The cable length from the USB connector to the DSUB connectors corresponds to 1.5 m, whereby it must be taken into account that a housing for the active device components is installed at approx. half the length.
