Description

With the Stage6 CDI you finally release the shackles of your scooter. As standard, Peugeot scooters with a standing engine and the Sachs Speedjet are equipped with a throttled CDI, which lock off at 8000 revolutions and thus do not allow you to get the full power from your scooter. A recent test bench run with a Stage6 Racing cylinder and the Stage6 CDI resulted in a huge 180% increase in performance from 5 hp to ~14 hp! However, a CDI exchange is useful not only for other cylinders but also after an exhaust change to a resonance buffer system (e.g. Yasuni R, Stage6 PRO), since the effective speed power band of such exhaust systems is higher than 8000 revolutions and is therefore only achievable with a dethrottled CDI. Attention: Only for models without immobilizer as well as programmable CDI!
